Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 April 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form the legal agreement between you (“you” or “your”) and EchoSlam (“EchoSlam”, “we”, “us” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the EchoSlam website, dashboard, and booking platform (together, the “Service”).

By creating an EchoSlam account or by ticking the “I agree” box during sign-up, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About EchoSlam

EchoSlam helps solo professionals and small businesses (tutors, trainers, coaches, therapists, beauty pros, consultants, and similar) publish a personal business website at echoslam.io/yourbusinessname and, on supported plans, take online bookings from clients. You are the merchant of record for any services or products you sell through your EchoSlam page.

2. Eligibility & account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
  • One account per business. We may refuse to create, suspend, or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

3. Free trial, plans and payment

  • New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of the plan you select during onboarding (Standard or Pro). No credit card is required to start the trial.
  • At the end of the trial, your account will move to a paid subscription only if you have added a payment method. Otherwise, your public page may be paused until you subscribe.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor. Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods.
  • We may change pricing or plan features from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice (at least 14 days) before any change that affects an active paid subscription.

4. Your content

You retain all rights in the text, images, logos, prices, business information and other content you upload or enter into EchoSlam ( “Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display Your Content solely so we can operate, secure, improve and promote the Service.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have all necessary rights and permissions to publish it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break any law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • promote or sell anything illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise harmful;
  • impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • upload viruses, scrape the Service, attempt to bypass our security, or interfere with how the Service works for others;
  • send spam or unsolicited messages to clients you obtained through EchoSlam;
  • resell or sublicense the Service to third parties without our written consent.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe breach these rules.

6. Bookings and your clients

EchoSlam is a tool that helps you publish your business and accept bookings. Any contract for services or goods is between you and your client. You are solely responsible for delivering what you advertise, for honouring or rescheduling bookings, for any deposits or refunds, and for handling client complaints.

7. Intellectual property

The EchoSlam name, logo, software, design and content (other than Your Content) belong to EchoSlam or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your business while your subscription or trial is active.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, payments, email, messaging and analytics (for example, Lovable Cloud, Stripe, and WhatsApp). Those providers have their own terms; we are not responsible for their services beyond what is required of us by law.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, if your payments fail, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your public page will be taken down and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoSlam will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EchoSlam, its directors, officers, employees and partners from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your dealings with clients, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, except where local consumer law gives you a right to bring the dispute elsewhere.
